Beekeeping Bootcamp 2024

The Butterfly Pavilion is teaching a 5-part series beekeeping workshop January, 2024 through September, 2024. Classes will be from 9am-12pm. The class topics include:

  • Workshop 1: Beekeeping Basics

  • Workshop 2: Package Installation and Early Season Management

  • Workshop 3: Mid-Season Management and Maladies  

  • Workshop 4: Honey Extraction  

  • Workshop 5: Preparing for Winter

    If you’ve been interested in beekeeping for some time and you care about saving our most treasured pollinators this is a great opportunity to learn how to get started!
