join our community of innovators, ecologists, farmers, designers, business owners, creatives, and home makers all working together to regenerate land and community. See partnering organizations and facilitators here.

This Course Offers:

  • 112 hours of blended lecture, tours, demonstrations, and hands-on activities across diverse permaculture projects in Boulder County (see topics below)

    1. Curriculum and certification approved by the Permaculture Institute of North America

    2. Small group facilitated design project completed during the course (expect 10-15 hours of out of class work towards this project throughout the season)

    3. Continued opportunities for mentorship and engagement with community organizations and leaders after graduation

    4. The chance to get your hands dirty, meet new people, and have a lot of fun!

Within the course, we are offering two tracks:

  1.  Lifestyle Permaculturists, who are eager to live the patterns of permaculture in their homes and communities, and

    1. Career Permaculture Designers, who would like to practice permaculture design and implementation for clients as a livelihood.

Within the same framework, we will offer custom break outs, sessions, design options, and mentorship tailored to how you envision using permaculture in your life.

Course Dates (9:00-5:00 Daily) – Second Weekend of Each Month:

April 12-13th, May 17-18th*, June 7-8th, July 12-13th, Aug 9-10th, Sept 12-14th, Oct 11-12th

*Adjusted to the third weekend to avoid Mother’s Day
